Yoga & Acupuncture Workshop

I am hosting “Seasonal Tuning Workshops” with Lena Grace (yoga teacher).

Mixing Yoga and Acupuncture altogether in one only workshop is completely new in Bristol.

We aim to spread both ancient Medicines, Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine, to offer you the best for your body and mind to tune in with the seasons.

The workshop is composed of:

  • Breathwork

  • 1-hour yoga practice (adaptable to all capacities)

  • Tea break

  • 1-hour acupuncture

Yoga opens the meridians, followed by acupuncture that invigorates and relaxes them.

A yoga practice that includes breath work where you’ll experience some of the effects it can have. Consideration of svadisthana or sacral chakra, connecting to water element and energy, the basic issues concerned with this chakra, and addressing imbalances to promote balance.

Acupuncture focuses on re-balancing your kidney energies with a few needles on kidney channels and ‘extraordinary channels’ as per Chinese Medicine tradition. You can expect the strengthening and warming help of Moxibustion herbs in a relaxing environment. The kidneys should strengthen to cope with cold and damp, nourishing the yin to enable the yang to strive.

About Yoga Practice

Alongside with Lena (amazing yoga teacher! see more about her below), we have created these seasonal workshops that would help you to tune in within the environment and feel strong and adaptable. These workshops are where the ancient systems of Yoga, Acupuncture and  Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine intertwine and sit alongside each other with ease.

Expect workshops that will leave you feeling nourished, energised, nurtured and renewed, where they will be sensitive to these ancient practices.

We also provide you with simple tips, techniques and practical gifts to take away with you to include in your self-care routine.

More About Lena

The practice Lena will share will be very much influenced by training completed with the Soma Yoga and Medicine School. It’s a healing practise where yoga and Ayurveda go hand in hand with shamanic practices, subtle energy systems such as kundalini and the chakras. Shredding skin, accepting that you are now your story will bring about healing and change. You’ll become the best version of you.

Lena comes from a place of accepting yourself as you are at this moment. Self-acceptance is self-love. Taking time to tune into your body using conscious and mindful movement.

Eva introduces you to acupuncture within the ancient knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She trained with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bristol as Naturopath-Acupuncturist. Other techniques Eva is also trained in cupping, moxibustion, electro and massage, all of which she interweaves into her treatments.

Coming from a nursing background and having knowledge of both Western and Chinese Medicine has given Eva a deeper insight into the human body and its imbalances.

During the workshop, Eva will select some general seasonal “tuning”l points and also specific points according to your main concern, health issues. Expect some feet massages and moxibustion too.
